Welcome to my blog. My name is Elizabeth, not Ruby, although I can see how that might get confusing. This is my first blog ever, so don't judge me too hard here, ok? At this point I'd like to think I'm better at creating your beautiful, one-of-a-kind custom watercolor wedding invitations than I am at blogging.
Anyways, onto why I've created this - wedding invitations. You've just gotten engaged, CONGRATS, it's literally one of the best, most euphoric of feelings. First off, let some time go by and just enjoy your engaged selves before you go into full-on wedding planning mode. When you think you're ready to kick it into high gear, GET YOURSELF A PLANNER (trust me, they're worth every penny, and they're really awesome to have around). I'm straying away from my main topic, I realize that.
WEDDING INVITATIONS! This is your time to show guests you and your fiancés love story. Set the tone for your wedding day, let your guests in on what to expect. How do you want them to feel when they open your wedding invitations? Are you more of a formal couple, playful couple, casual couple? All of these can shine through in your wedding invitations. HAVE FUN with them, tell a story! Don't be afraid to branch outside blush, because let me tell you, COLOR is in this year my friends and I AM HERE FOR IT! I'll talk more about that in a later post though.
